I was supposed to have a therapy appointment today. Every other Thursday. It used to be Mondays, as it had been for literal years, but was changed a couple of months ago. That part doesn't matter. Today was the first time the system was down. Just...completely down. Do not pass go, do not pay $200 (jk, I don't actually pay anything out of pocket for my therapy appointments). It's the first time in roughly 10 years since I started going to therapy...which sounds weird when I think of it.
This comes a few days after I was supposed to have a PCP appointment, at 9PM because she's on the west coast, which was rescheduled because of the system being down. I adore my PCP and I don't get to see her as often as I otherwise would, so it was a true bummer. Also because I was ready for it. Know what I mean? Sometimes one must work up the courage to hear all the things wrong with you.
Different systems, different providers. Both completely down.
I'm starting to think the lawd wants me to remain diabetic and crazy.
